I love this place!! Best VIBE in town…. They have great live performers on the weekend. The new owners Frank & Julio are hands in and make sure you get top-tier service. Great selection of premium cigars in their walk-in humidor… Hubby and I have made this our new spot for our date nights!!
It was my first time at Smoke & Barrel with my husband and we had a wonderful time. The atmosphere and vibe were on point. The live music, our drinks, and the cigar collection they have are amazing. It’s a must-visit.
I genuinely love Smoke & Barrel! They've recently switched owners (it used to be Empire) & I definitely see the difference. I usually go with my boyfriend who's a smoker, I'm not, and I genuinely enjoy going with him to hang out even if I don't smoke. The place is so well-ventilated that the smoke isn't overwhelming. It's such a nice vibe and they have live entertainment on Saturdays. The full bar is great! Very cozy atmosphere. They aren't allowed to provide food as they are a smoking facility, but they're very welcoming on allowing us to bring in food and/or order from restaurants nearby. The service & staff are amazing! So nice and welcoming.

What truly sets this place apart is the ownership's commitment to their guests. Frank Ballestre went above and beyond to accommodate our group on relatively short notice, carving out a substantial private area without knowing our final headcount. That level of flexibility and trust is rare in Miami's hospitality scene.
The layout worked perfectly for our needs—intimate enough for conversation but spacious enough that our group never felt cramped. The cigar selection is solid with knowledgeable staff who can guide both enthusiasts and newcomers. The drink menu complements the experience well, and service throughout the evening was attentive without being intrusive.
Beyond the quality of the space itself, there's a genuine warmth here that you don't always find at lounges in this market. Frank and his team clearly take pride in creating an environment where people can relax, network, and enjoy themselves.
